    1. It's often the best way... it saves the feeling of defeat when we revisit our lists at the end of the year and see how little we actually achieved! x

  2. Love your list. I do something similar, notes of books I might want to read, places to be visited, films to look out for, recipe ideas for shaking up the menus here. I like to have a word for the year, too. And if I don't manage it all, well, that's okay.

    Happy New Year.

  4. I've just discovered your blog too (via a comment you left on Curlew Steph's instagram). This is a good list - win the lottery is on my list too ;) and I also have an elderly friend aged 85 who I try to visit once a fortnight. I'm a nature lover too so am pleased to have discovered your blog :)

  5. A great list! I read on a blog about having a list of intentions rather than resolutions, I liked that idea!

  6. Great list - lots of happy little goals! I made marmalade for the first time last year, I've still got some left but might do it again this year (now I know what I'm doing!). Good luck with the blood giving - I've signed up to do it again this spring and I'm feeling a little nervous about it... :-)
