Over the last couple of days I have been working on upcycling my cuttings into new cards. Nothing fancy or sophisticated - just some background papers, the upcycled toppers and some stickers or peel offs. I think the simplest cards are often the best.
Here are a few of my favourites - apologies for the poor quality of the photos but it is really dark here this morning ...
Next to do - birthday cards !

They're lovely! I always cut a few of mine up to use as gift tags for the next Christmas :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Emma :)
DeleteReally nice, I am going to do some this week and some birthday one x
ReplyDeleteThanks Marlene :) I made 15 Christmas cards and 5 birthday cards - I'm on a roll!! x
DeleteYour cards are stunning and what a good idea to up-cycle, saves buying expensive toppers. xx
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Jan, you are too kind! I do appreciate all your kind comments xx
DeleteThey look great! I had to go through the huge pile I had as they wouldn't fit in the box. I have sent most to the recycling the ones I kept will be used as gift tags.
ReplyDeleteThanks :) I love your teddy bears, big time! x
DeleteThey are fab! I only make gift tags with mine but you have inspired me to have a go at some cards. What do you use a the actual cards (folded card, or totally blank cards)?
ReplyDeleteThanks so much :) I buy blank cards from a nearby craft store - they come ready cut, with envelopes and you just have to fold them in half. Hobbycraft sell them online if you haven't got a craft store nearby.
